Things to Do Before Leaving NOLA, #5: Take The Ferry to Algiers for Brunch

I love ferries.  And so does Summer.  And both of us love brunch, so what better way to spend one of our last mid-mornings than to take the free Canal Street ferry across the Ol' Mississip to Algiers Point and Tout de Suite restaurant?

New Orleans' central business district as seen from the ferry.

Tout de Suite is only about a five block walk from the ferry
But it's an adorable walk.  *Summer's photo

I love outdoor seating on a jacket-and-scarf day.

By the looks of the rust on the ferry you and Summer should have been wearing life jackets.

So glad we got to do this. When are we moving to New York??

ha! It's never good when the boat's in terrible disrepair.

Someday Anne, someday. but first! Exciting, smaller cities.
